Little People Day Care School of Columbia participates in the Pre-K Counts program for 3 and 4 year old’s instituted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The program is designed to offer a high quality pre-kindergarten preparedness so that the children perform well from elementary school through high school.
The program targets “at risk” children from low-income families earning below 300% of the federal poverty level. The hours of operation are between 8:30am and 4:00pm. The tuition is free for the parents during this time frame. Little People Day Care School has 20 such slots as part of this program.
Pre-K Counts applications for new enrollments may be submitted at any time. Eligible applicants will be placed on a wait list and families will be contacted if space becomes available.
